We believe in the interdependence and interrelatedness of one another and the greater community. We believe all humanity is created in the image of God, and is gifted with God's breath that connects all humanity. We believe Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and we live by His prophetic witness and words written in Luke 4:18-19, 21; “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord…And He began to say to them, Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” The prophetic witness of Jesus, instructs and empowers us to seek to build the Kingdom of God on earth as a present-day reality (Matt. 6:10). We believe in the love ethic, demonstrated by Jesus throughout the gospels and taught by Jesus in the gospel according to Matthew 22:37 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind…And, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Therefore, We believe in being an ethnically and culturally diverse, inclusive community for the fellowship of all people!
