About Immersion Encounter Trips
Immersion Encounter Trips are intended to immerse students into a different culture as they get evolved, educated, and exposed to cultures, and people they’re unfamiliar with. And by being exposed to difference, it’s our hope and prayer students find their calling.
Every Encounter is about finding and fulfilling our calling. Encounters are challenging and they change us. They also change the world. Whether it be tutoring and mentoring children, putting on a Bible school, fighting hunger, caring for the homeless, building homes for the economically challenged, doing chores for the elderly, fighting human trafficking and exploitation, caring for the environment, or simply sitting down and having a conversation with someone about the God we love… Encounters give us the chance to be the light of Christ in this world God created. Through Immersion Encounters, Found students have opportunities to venture out beyond our community to meet with, and support, people who do these same things all around the world.
Encounter Trips we've had so far:
Encounter D.C. | The Importance of Communication in Education for Activation to Liberation (spring, 2019)

Encounter Colorado (every winter break)
