Giving Tuesday! As friends and Found alumni, you know the power of a Christ-filled community growing together. On Tuesday November 27th, Pastor Rodney asks you to make a gift to the Baptist Student Foundation so it can continue to be that Christ-filled community on the Purdue University Campus. And because we are community, he asks you to reach out to your friends on #GivingTuesday!
What is #GivingTuesday? It is a global day of giving fueled by social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, it kicks off the charitable season when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Join us! In 2017 #GivingTuesday raised an estimated $274 Million for Nonprofits. That total was a 50 percent increase over the previous year. More than two million gifts were made nation-wide. |

Pastor & DirectorRodney LynchI am a family man who's passionate about the life and value of all humanity and therefore, I look forward to providing balanced pastoral and spiritual guidance and care at The Baptist Student Foundation ("The Found") and to the Purdue community. I have worked with youth and young adults as a mentor and spiritual leader in the church, on college campuses, and in culturally diverse neighborhoods. I believe that if we are to transform our world for the better, youth involvement is a vital requirement. In addition, my love for God, humanity and passions for social justice, education, inter-generational, inter-cultural ecumenical and inter-faith dialogue are just a few subject matters I look forward to engaging with the Purdue family. I have also served in the role of leadership at multiple venues, particularly as an associate minister, board member in my community and as president of the Black Ministerial Caucus at Drew University. I am the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from The College of New Rochelle. In addition, I have also earned two post graduate degrees: Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology from Drew University.
I am married to Felicia M. (Myles) Lynch and together we have three children: Jeremiah, David and Michael. We enjoy sports, movies and occasional traveling. |
